Pesantren Wirausaha Payungi Sebagai Basis Gerakan Pemberdayaan Perempuan Muslim di Metro

Abstrak
Pesantren yang sebagian orang melihatnya sebagai ruang yang berfokus pada kajian-kajian teologis-religious, bahkan secara fakta juga menjadi ruang yang sangat privat, pada prinsipnya juga menjadi ruang dimana orang dapat belajar banyak hal, baik ekonomi, sains, teknologi dan sebagai ruang untuk membangun sebuah gerakan pemberdayaan, juga meningkatkan kapabilitas seseorang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan Pesantren dan pembangunan ekonomi dalam konsep pemberdayaan perempuan dan seperti apa kontekstualitas agama dalam merespons kebutuhan gagasan pembangunan ekonomi. Hasil Pengabdian ini menjelaskan bahwa keberadaan Pesantren Wirausaha Payungi sebagai dasar gerakan pemberdayaan telah membawa dampak signifikan pada pembangunan ekonomi perempuan. Pertama, Pesantren Wirausaha Payungi mampu meningkatkan kapasitas per individu dan kelompok melalui mentoring dalam diskusi rutin pada setiap malam Kamis. Kedua, gerakan pemberdayaan yang didasarkan pada nilai-nilai religius Pesantren mampu membuat ruang representatif dalam sustaining women’s livelihood sebagai wirausahawan perempuan Muslim. Artikel ini masih terbatas pada skala diskusi dalam pemberdayaan, pesantren, dan perempuan di Payungi, jadi ini masih membutuhkan studi lebih lanjut di tempat yang berbeda dengan skala dan pendekatan yang berbeda.
